Thomson Bros. Trading is a rapidly expanding company based in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Perceived as a growing force in the area of fluid control, we attribute our success to extensive product knowledge, our understanding of and responsiveness to market requirements and the value we place on excellent customer service.

Thomson Bros. Trading originated on a farm in the Alexandria district where we started manufacturing plastic valves in response to the need we saw for valves which met certain criteria.

As well as being affordable, these plastic valves are corrosion free, do not seize in adverse water conditions and have no scrap metal value, which is an important deterrent to theft. The range was then increased to include check valves, taps, elbows etc.

To grow the business, we moved to premises in Newton Park, Port Elizabeth. The current premises accommodate a factory, showroom and sales centre.

Thomson Bros. Trading acquired the agencies for Alpha compression fittings and Red Star insert fittings, and to further complement the range, we started stocking hose clamps. We realised there was a market for brass valves and therefore started importing a good quality brass range. Thomson Bros. also imports high-quality P.T.F.E thread tape.
